In The Park with Jools Holland
My mum and I headed down to Priory Park at about 6:15 and were in time to catch Angelo Starr and The Team. Graham, Heather and Greg joined us a little later and Mark Flanagan, lead guitarist in Jools Holland's Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, played next.
After he finished, I went and found the "Sausage Pit" laid on by a local restaurant and listened to a blues band who were set up next to the sausage tent under a gazebo while I queued.
Jools + orchestra came on stage at 8:30 and we made our way towards the stage where we had a pretty good view. Sam Brown sang with them, as did Ruby Turner. Sam sounded a bit out of breath on Valentine Moon, but it was great nonetheless.
Earlier in the day, I went to see my aunt to sort out some problems with her new laptop - her old one was stolen and she had a fair number of educational programmes to install on it as well as needing her USB pen drive fixed, which seems to have got corrupted somewhere along the line. Copying all the data off it and reformatting it seemed to do the trick.
Anyway, it's bedtime now, what with needing to go to clinic in the morning.
