Hometime
Right, it's about time I wrote me another one of these blog entry things. With any luck someone might even read this one.
Still waiting on the package, it's heading rapidly towards two weeks since I ordered it. Stupid Royal Mail. I went to the SUCS beach party and sat near a warm, warm fire which was quite nice. Since then, I've not really been doing a great deal. Just getting ready to go back home. Ah, home, filled with free foodstuffs in a brilliant way. I love you so.
That reminds me, actually, I best start to pack stuff up before it all goes pear-shaped in the way that things invariably do. I might even miss this room, seeing all the sick people queuing outside the hospital, waiting to be admitted and coughing in the meantime always brings a smile to my sick, twisted face.
I went to see Sin City about a week ago just after the end of my exams: FANTASTIC FILM. I encourage anyone who likes real interpretations of comic books will love it. They managed to stay almost religiously close to the source material (probably due in no small part to Frank Miller's script - the man is a legend) and make an excellent film at the same time. Brilliant stuff. All the actors managed to do a good job, the highlight being Mickey Rourke as Marv. I really loved it, especially the noir-ish black and white combined with brighter than bright colour for certain characters and scenes. Wonderful stuff.
Until I find something better to talk about, go and watch Sin City. Repeatedly.
