Regular emptying of the bin might be sweet. Every time I have been in there it has been overflowing
It isn't going to empty itself - if it needs emptying then empty it (and beat up other users of the room into emptying it too)

Re: The Room
Can we please, please have keyboards with sensible layouts? I've put up with a laptop keyboard for a few years and it is really very annoying to have no keypad. As for the central cluster, I simply don't understand why manufacturers feel the need to piss on users by rotating it 90 degrees and removing a key, or adding another 3 keys that will never be used except by accident causing the machine to turn off when you wanted to page up.

Re: The Room
I'm with PWB on the keyboard layouts - the machine I was using had a half-width right shift key, with the ~ key to it's right. That is just plain wrong.
If the bin needs emptying, then empty it yourself (unless of course you can't find the bin liners) - I managed it when I was there.
