How do you fix an Error 691
For some reason my PC is now giving me an Error 691 when I log on to try and use the Uniroam network.
Any Idea what the cause could be or how to solve it??

Re: How do you fix an Error 691
I was going to say that you might get on better asking at the SWIS forum, but that seems to be broken at the minute...
A cursory google suggests that 691 is an error code for authentication failure, so make sure your username and password are correct.
I believe your password should always be the same as on the LIS windows machines, so if you've changed that password recently that could be your problem.

Re: How do you fix an Error 691
I can confirm from my previous life as a Demon Internet support type that indeed, error 691 is the bad username/password error. One problem can be that Windows has decided to prepend the username with an NT domain when it shouldn't have.
You should be able to resolve it simply by retyping your username and password into the appropriate boxes in that connection.

Re: How do you fix an Error 691
I found, when I tested Vista out recently, that it was prepending my username on things with an NT domain. And I couldn't make it stop.
So I went back to XP. Stoopid Vista.

I went through my system settings again and now it seems to work.
