Yesterday morning, my dad took Morphy to the park and they met a labrador. Morphy and the labrador had a play fight and then after a while, as he tends to, Morphy went into a submissive lie-on-the-ground type of pose. The labrador then decided to lie on top of him until Morphy yelped and started trying to bite the labrador's face.

Ever since then he's been quite depressed, and didn't wag at all until yesterday evening and even then, it was a fairly feeble swish. He was sick a couple of times and we called the vet in the evening, but they advised us to see how he was this morning.

He seemed a bit better this morning and played with his ball a bit in the park. This evening though, he was sick again having only had less than a half of his normal amount of food, so we took him to the vet. She checked him over and thought everything was fine until she came to take his temperature. The moment he saw the thermometer, he sat down, which was quite funny, but when she lifted his tail, he yelped and she discovered that it was quite tender and painful, so she gave him a painkiller by injection and instructed us to feed him on boiled chicken and rice, which he's eating now.
