Right guys, its finally got to the last event of the year, Outdoor Busa. The plan is to meet at the front of Fulton house as usual for about 11 oclock, leaving at 11.30. We should get there in just over three hours so we'll have plenty of time the other end to set up tents and find food. We shoot all day sat, and then drink all nite sat and then we'll be coming back on the sunday leaving at whatever time we all drag ourselves out of bed but im hoping for about 1 oclock at the latest, which shud get us back here for about 4.30ish.
Hopefully we should have enough tents - they should be something like; Ali and ems tent - ali, em, shaun, cabana, some of the kit Malcs tent - malc, Woody, rhodri Cats tent - Cat, Penny, Rachael, Skye Skyes tent - Jon, dave, Craig
If anybody needs any kit then they need to let me know as soon as possible so we can get it from the cupboard.
Im not sure how much the minibus will cost yet but i cant imagine it being that much, probs a few quid. The tents only cost us bout £50 for both nights and since we only have to pay for one night i think they'll be about £1.50 ish.
If anyone has any other questions then please ask me as soon as possible. Otherwise i will see you all on fri!!

Unbelievably, we have come to the end of the year! The session on Monday was the last indoor session and this time of year means that its time for the club Head-2-Head. It will be held up at Fairwood tomorrow, Sat 7th June, with assembly at 12.30. If anybody needs any help with transport or finding the place then just let us know. The Head-2-Head itself will be over 50m with a ranking system, so all you need to do is turn up and shoot.
Monday 9th June will be this years Summer beach bbq, which is always great fun! Meeting on the beach by the pillbox from 1 oclock, we'll be playing beach games, cooking bbq food, drinking, and giving out the prizes for the year including best novice, best experienced and most improved. We'll stay til late and have bonfire as well.
For those members of both this and last years committee, we get to have a morning of fun and games with the AU first. In case any of you have forgotten (or might not want to turn up lol) you are; Cat James, Richard Jenkins, Skye Kent, Dave Coker, Simon Hendry, Craig May, Dave Leach and Penny Edwards
The morning will be as follows: 09/06/08 - Grove Lecture Theatre (Behind the bus station for going up to the village).
9am - 11am New Committees training 11am - AU management meeting 12pm - AU AGM.
As suggested, only those members of next years committee need turn up at 9, everyone else from 11.
Cheers Ali

Just to remind everyone that after a break of a few weeks due to problems with kit transport, tonight will be the first monday session back in the hall, at the normal time of 7-9. If everyone could please come, it means we can get a better idea of how people are shooting still, as things are harder to judge outdoors, and you still have the opportunity to shoot outdoors almost every other day of the week.
Hopefully there should be some form of social this wednesday, possibly bowling. I know some people haven't finished exams yet but most have and it seems the best date for a few drinks.
Cheers Ali |

Firstly i just wanted to congratulate all those who shot at the weekend. We did really well and the full results will be posted on here in time, but the highlights were winning the experienced team, and individual experienced male recurve and novice female recurve (and the compound to keep malc happy even tho he was only against dave - both of whom ARE FROM SWANSEA :D).
As expected, we haven't been able to get the kit back down from fairwood today, therefore there will be an afternoon shoot at fairwood, and not an evening session at the gym. Things will return to normal for next week tho (mon indoors/fairwood sessions when available). We should have a social coming up sometime soon altho im not quite sure what it is as yet :D As always any questions or problems then please speak to me. Cheers Ali |
