Blog-a-Week

It turns out my new years resolution caught the attention of our resident egg who has decided that he should force that resolution onto the massses by starting a blog-a-week competition. Winner gets a curry, or cake or somethings, Steve was a little shaky on the details! Anyways so far we have Tobeon, Shepherdnick, Jonhurlock, saya and WillWel2000 hopefully we will get more people involved too (poke frosty, you in?). The rules we have so far is that you must post at least once every 7 days and that post must contain at least 250 words. The content will be judged by our very own Ginger Spice: Triard (AKA Rich) if it is deemed to be crap (e.g. copying and pasting the lyrics to Steve the Egg) then that person loses. If anyone else wants in then feel free to leave a comment and remember you don’t have to have a current blog, there are plenty of places where you can start a new one.

Not an awful lot has happened since my last blog post (as it was only 3 days ago) but I have been getting back in to COD4 multiplayer (quite a big fan of cage matches!) and have already jumped up at least 3 ranks. I have also sumbled across people on xbox live who are not colossal ass hats (e.g. danny9907). It’s always a bit weird speaking to a normal random live player, but it does happen!

Let’s see, anything else worth mentioning? Yes! I found a website the other day called fixmystreet.com It is a great website which lets you complain to your local council about problems in your area. Why I think this is so good as I have heard many people (including myself) at many times point out broken walls, piles of rubbish or other such crapyholeyness and grumble about how no one ever fixes these things and how crap it is. Well now rather than just grumbling to yourself and friends you can send a message to the council (as how can they fix it if they don’t know about it!). There is also an iphone app that lets you take a photo of whatever it is, write up the complaint and send it there and then. I suppose while we are on the topic of politics (of sort) I would just like to leave you with this question: What The Hell is wrong with our Goverment?
