Conclusion

Clustering is something that is a very viable and redundant system that can be used in many situations, Clustered systems can compete with Supercomputer in terms of their speed, but have redundancy which many single computer systems do not have they also bring super processing power to the masses because such easily available and cheap equipment can be used to create a clustered system, this means that smaller organisations can benefit from clustered systems.

Linux is the perfect operating system for clustering because it is very stable when set-up correctly and is also portable because the source code is so freely available. This means that it can be run on almost any type of computer system.
