A merged view of Bridgwater station in Somerset, photographed looking accross from platform 1 to the junction at the northern end of platform 2 which means the latter is significantly shorter than the southbound platform. The junction gives the only access to the sidings known variously as "Bridgwater railhead" and "Eastover sidings", that are the location where nuclear waste flasks from Hinkley Point power station are transfered from road to rail on their journey to Sellafield in Cumbria.
