A merged view of Bridgwater station in Somerset, viewed looking south from the northern end of platform 1 (the southbound platform). Platform 2 is significantly shorter due to the junction that gives access to the Eastover sidings (aka Bridgwater railhead) where nuclear waste flasks are transferred from road to rail en route from Hinkley Point power station to Sellafield in Cumbria.
