Looking south from the footbridge over the southern end of Bridgwater station in Somerset. The bridge connects the streets adajcent to the station on either side of the line rather than the platforms directly, although access to both platforms is not far from either end.
The station currently consists of just two operational platforms, but there was clearly a south-facing bay on the northbound (right) side, and possibly also on the southbound side as well. The points under the bridge are not currently operational, but previously would have served as the exit from a line, now mostly overgrown and disconnected at the far end, that formed both a goods loop and access to/from the north-side bay platform.
