A not-quite perfect 360° panorama of Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3 tube station, viewed from the centre of one of the platforms. <br>
Originally built as the terminus station "Heathrow Central", the station was redeveloped to become the second station on the uni-directional loop and renamed to its present identity with the opening of Terminal 4.<br>
During construction work to enable the extension to Terminal 5 the loop was shut and this station once again became a simple two-platform terminus.<br>
When Terminal 5 opens, trains will alternately serve Terminal 4 then Terminals 1,2,3 on the loop, or continue from Hatton Cross station to Terminals 1,2,3 and then to Terminal 5, where they will reverse and serve Terminals 1,2,3 again.
