A not-quite perfect 360° panorama of Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3 tube station, viewed from the centre of one of the platforms.
Originally built as the terminus station "Heathrow Central", the station was redeveloped to become the second station on the uni-directional loop and renamed to its present identity with the opening of Terminal 4.
During construction work to enable the extension to Terminal 5 the loop was shut and this station once again became a simple two-platform terminus.
When Terminal 5 opens, trains will alternately serve Terminal 4 then Terminals 1,2,3 on the loop, or continue from Hatton Cross station to Terminals 1,2,3 and then to Terminal 5, where they will reverse and serve Terminals 1,2,3 again.
