Looking north from the southern end of Morden tube station, the southern terminus of the Northern Line. Note that in order to speed up passenger loading/unloading, there station is arranged with platforms on both sides of the track. In this photograph platform 1, currently undergoing some refurbishment work, is on the right with platform 2 is in the centre. A 1995 tube stock can is at platform 3 on the left. The station is open to the air at the northern end - the only time the Northern Line surfaces in south London, while the ticket office is constrcted above the southern end.
