The Northern Line tunnel mouths immediately north of Morden tube station. This is the only place in south London where the Northern Line does not run in tunnels, indeed the route from here to High Barnet via Bank inlcudes the longest tunnel on the entire London Underground network - 17.3 miles (28.3km) to East Finchley station.<br>
This photgraph was taken in the pouring rain from the northern end of platform 4.
