Nailsea and Backwell railway station, viewed looking south from the northern end of the northbound platform. The station takes its name from two North Somerset settlements, as it spans the road that links the two. The southbound platform marks the westernmost point of Backwell, while Nailsea is about ¼ mile west (right).
