A merged view of Nailsea and Backwell railway station, viewed looking south from beneath the footbridge. The station takes its name from two North Somerset settlements, as it spans the road that links the two - the road bridge is marked by a change in platform colour and the parapets can also be seen. The southbound platform on the left marks the westernmost point of Backwell, while Nailsea is about ¼ mile west (right).
