Looking north from the northern end of the northbound platform at Nailsea and Backwell railway station in North Somerset. The next station north is Parson Street, in the suburbs of Bristol.<br>
Note the HST stopping board on the left of the track a considerable distance beyond the platforms, which are only long enough to take the standard class carriages of a HST set.
