Severn Tunnel Junction station / gorsaf Cyffordd Twnnel Hafren in Rogiet, South Wales viewed looking east from the road bridge a short distance west of the station in the late afternoon sun. Platform 1, served by westbound trains, is on the right of the picture, with platforms 2 (trains towards Gloucester) and 3 (serivces to Bristol via the Severn Tunnel) to the right and left of the central island platform respectively. The leftmost platform is disused, while the edging stones suggest the brick building between platforms 2 and 3 may be built on the site of a former west-facing bay platform - the supports for the road bridge also look designed to enable this.
The towers of the Second Severn Crossing, which since 1996 has carried the M4 motorway over the Severn Estuary, can be seen in the distance above and to the right of the shelter on platform 1.
