Looking east from the footbridge at Severn Tunnel Junction station / gorsaf Cyffordd Twnnel Hafren in Rogiet, South Wales.
From right to left the lines and platforms visible are:
- Down relief line (extreme right, far side of rightmost platform), not accessible to trains comming from the Severn Tunnel; not adjacent to a platform.
- Platform 1, served by westbound trains from Gloucester and the Severn Tunnel. Services from the tunnel cross over the up line beyond the red singal in the middle distance.
- Platform 2, served by eastbound trains towards Gloucester only.
- Unnumbered, filled-in former east-facing bay platform (no track).
- Platform 3. All eastbound trains headed to the Severn Tunnel must call at or pass this platform. Although there is a link from this line to the eastbound Gloucester Line, the state of the rails suggest it is not a common move.
- Unnumbered, disused through platform. Presumably when this was operational it was used for eastbound services via the Severn Tunnel with the present platform 3 being used for westbound services from the tunnel.
