Looking south along the Great Western Main Line from the bridge that carries Broadway accross the railway line in the south of Weston-super-Mare, immediately south of Uphill Junction where the Weston-super-Mare loop diverges from the mainline, the points allow access to the southbound track from the loop.<br> 
The line was closed for the first day of a week-long engineering possesion between Worle Junction in the northern suburbs of Weston-super-Mare and Cogload Junction north of Taunton.<br>
New rails have been placed alongside the northbound (right) track in preparation for relaying later in the week.
