Four of the seven bridges that cross the River Tyne in Newcastle city centre. In the foregound is the double-deck High Level Bridge built in 1849, which carries rail traffic on the upper deck and the B1307 road on the lower deck. Behind it are the Swing Bridge, the Tyne Bridge (both road bridges) and the pedestrian Gateshead Millennium Bridge.
