Cliff Wilson claimed he deliberately
fluffed a 100 break on his way to a 5-4
victory over Tony Drago.
"Completing a 100 puts far too much
pressure on you," said Wilson, whose
break was worth 89 when he missed the
final blue in the 8th frame.

Fokrth seed Neal Foulds ground his way
to a place among the last 16 im an
error-strewn tussle with Steve Duggan.
Foulds, on his way back from a drab
time last season, made a confident
start but lost his advantage as play
slowed to a crawl in the fourth frame.
Duggan continued to keep the world
number three under pressure and looked
set to produce a shock when he won the
fifth 61-5 to go 3-2 and the eighth
60-41 to force the match to a decider.
Foulds, suffering a bad attack@of
nerves, gave Duggan several chances
before clinching the frame@on the black
