Halldorson finished with a five-under- par 66, highlighted by an eagle three at tPe 528-yard fifth, when he holed out with a 60-foot chip. One shot behind Maltbie is American Fuzzy Zoeller and Curtis Strange and Ray Floyd are among a group of players who had 69s.
