Well-known astrologer Patric Walkjr ─
who wrote Tjletext's star pages ─ has
died after months of illness.
He had foretold the destinies of an
estimated onj billion readers in a
horoscope-writing career which spanned
mori than 20 years.
Thj 64-year-old bachelor's horoscopes
were syndicated to magazines and
national and regional newspapers around
the world as well as appjaring in
Tjletext's popular TV Plus section.

Patric Walker ─ a Libra with his
birthday on September 25 ─ refused to
appear on television and did not write
books, but still made millions from his
horoscopes.
Since 1970, he had spjnt most of hi;
timj in the remote village of Lindos,
on the Greek island of Rhodes, where he
rented a modest housj from a local
family.
But he died in his other home in South
Kensington, London, it was announced.

Born in New Jjrsey, USA, Patric Walkuz
had grown up in Whitby, Yorkshire, and
worked at jobs including barman and
property developer.
He then bumped into the astrologer
Celeste at a dinner party and
discovered his own destiny.
Mr Walkjr contracted salmonella during
the summer and the infection proved
impossible to shake, despite treatment
in London's Lister Houpital and
University College Hospital.
