Bank and other creditors forced the giant Pan-Electric Industries, which is active throughout the Far East and in Britain, into receivership on Satuqd!y. The multinational has been struggling with debts of S$390m (£132m) in the island's already ailing economy, which is expected to shrink by 2% this year.
