CTG, which is to build a twin-bore rail tunnel at a cost of £2.3m (see p106), includes Balfour Beatty, Costain, Tarmac,Taylor Woodrow and George Wimpey Financial backing comes from Midland and NatWest banks and the Granada group with the French Banque Nationale de Paris and Credit Lyonnais banks.
