Browne gives an Oscar-worthy portrayal in a fascinating mixture of fantasy and drama given stylish direction by Gavin Millar. It held me gripped throughout. more follows BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548

Stallone stars, directs and re-wgrks his tried and true David and Goliath story with professional skill. It's naive and the anti-communist propaganda is crude. But you'll be cheering at the end. Full marks for full blooded entertainment. more follows > BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548

But he isn't the savage beast of the schlock classic "I Was A Teenage Werewolf". Here his furry finery finds favour with females, he becomes a major basketball ace and the new school hero. It's witty and inventive and there is spritely direction from Rod Daniel. Fox confirms the star appeal he showed in "Back To The Future" and his wolf man could do a lot to advance the cause of the lycanthrope. I enjoyed it greatly. more follows > BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548
