Montague was born in New York in 1929, but as a young child his moved back to Ireland, to County Tyrone, to the town of Garvaghey. Tyrone is a particularly beautiful county, with wild Irish landscapes and forests steeped in myth and Gaelic legend. It's small wonder Montague was inspired to write poetry.  More >>>
