Lynne, 15, has been deaf since birth and since a coma 18 months ago has had difficulty in speaking and writing, but is now able to communicate better. Her mother says "She used to be able to write and draw well and the computer has given her her old enthusiasm back. She is busy learning new skills on the computer at home as well as at school." P468ORACLE 468 Mon 3 Feb C4 1711:19  WEEKEND 4/10  DEAF CHURCH  SERVICE ON TV Grampian Television, the ITV company serving NE Scotland is to broadcast the first ever network church service for the deaf and it will feature a signing deaf choir. The service, from Aberdeeen Beechgrove Church will be conducted by Rev Sarah Nicol who is hearing but fluent in sign language. The service will have subtitles prepared by ORACLE but which have been re-recorded in vision so they will be available to everyone whether they have teletext or not.
