MISTER IN FOR A SHOCK! US band Mr.MISTER play their first UK gig at the prestigious West End venue The Marquee on Thursday of next week. But having just finished a stadium tour of America with TINA TURNER, the size of the infamous London Club may come as a bit of a shock to the band. "I don't think they've ever played anywhere quite so small, a spokesperson from their UK office told me. "I've tried to explain to them how small the place is, because they're used to playing to tens of thousands at a time!" Should be interesting. more > BSVs Index 540 US Charts 543

Issue two, which DAVID kindly sent us, features articles on THE CHAMELEONS, BOGSHED and THE MEMBRANES, to mention a few, and costs a mere 20p. Which is why I won't complain about the fact that it's dead hard to read, because it's so full! Interested?
