TONIGHT at 8.00pm
Lucy is awake drinking cocoa in the
kitchen, trying to compose a letter to
James.
Paul comes downstairs and tries to
talk to her, telling her that the
affair ended the moment she stepped on
the boat back to England.
He feels she used her parents as a
convenient base and that she should
pull herself together.
Lucy bursts into tears but Paul is
disinterested and goes to bed.

TONIGHT at 8.00pm
Later that morning, Annabelle persuades
Lucy to wash her hair and, looking much
more presentable, decides to go to
work.
She is later brought home by a young
boy who found her in tears, lost on a
housing estate.
It transpires she didn't go to work as
she's been sacked - James' doing. She
also reveals her visit to James' house
which seems strange to Paul and
Annabelle who wonder if perhaps Lucy is
pregnant.

TONIGHT at 8.00pm
Ralph feels he and Harold should widen
their social circle. Harry doesn't
fancy joining a clua and so Ralph
suggests they advertise in the personal
columns.
Harry isn't too sure, but Ralph decides
to help him draft the advert. They
can't agree and become irritated with
each other.
In the end it gets pushed aside. Harry
blames Ralph for being too critical and
while Ralph is at the shops, Harry sets
about doing it on his own.

TONIGHT at 8.00pm
Keith Tench invites Heather to spend
three weeks in Aberdeen with him on the
case of a prospective client
diversifying into oil.
Heather doesn't relish the idea but has
no choice but to consider it. Later
that evening, Heather presents Nicholas
with the print she bought for him at
the co-operative.
The print has been designed by his ex-
wife and Nicholas asks Heather to keep
it, obtain the twin-print that goes
with it and he'll show her where to
hang them (in the nicest way!)
