Credibility is nil - what we have is largly entertaining comic strip adventure, smartly tailored to showcase the massive Schwarzeneggar. It's very violent and the body count is hugh. But it's hardly meant to be taken seriously. The action is cartoon style and the viscerally oriented mayhem is defused by some sly (if obvious) comedy more follows BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548

The clashes between Fonda, certain of a retional explanation and Bancroft - who believes a miracle may be involved, are spellbinding. Superb performances from the three stars, an intelligent script, impeccable direction by Norman Jewison. more follows > BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548

Kenneth Eastaugh's witty script and Roy Battersby's symathatic direction are well served by excellent performances, headed by Jackson and a well-chosen cast. This is low budget British movie making at its best and delightful fun. more follows > BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548
