Which is just the start of their troubles in this very blue black comedy all in the worst possible taste. It's crude and magnificently vuglar and also, thanks to a very funny screenplay and zestful, over-the-top performances by WALTERS and CHARLESON, disgracefully comic. I laughed lustily - shame on me! more follows > BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548

Fouq ill-assorted people, trapped in a lift stuck between the floors in a deserted skyscraper, indulge in dreary dialogue, have hysterics and desperately try to escape before the elevator gives up the ghost and plunges them to their deaths. Writer-director CARL SCHENKEL uses his confined settings skilfully and creates effective suspense. And he elicits gogd performances from the central players. that said, however, we've seen it all before - and often, so why do it again? more follows > BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548

It's simply an excuse to stage a stunning, almost non-stop car chase against some very well-chosen Down Under locations. BRUCE MORRISON's lively direction keeps everything exciting, ROBERTSON, HARROW, GARRETT and villain SHANE BRIANT handle the formula dramatics adequately. The real stars, however, are all the daring stunt drivers who deserve major credit. more follows > BSVs Index - 540 Gig Guide - 548
