I graduated Swansea University with a Physics degree and moved to the USA. I am looking for a full time position and willing to consider any project that could further my skills.

2017-PresentAudio/Visual and computer maintenance for the School of Medicine as part of the classroom and videoconferencing support team. Assist faculty and distinguished speakers with classroom technologies, such as TurningPoint, Office 365, and Sakai. Report on Audio/Visual and computer issues using JIRA and escalation of complex support issues to the correct group. Sort, distribute, and dispose of surplus hardware from storage and system upgrades. Completed training courses AV Essentials (InfoComm/AVIXA) and AV Associate (Extron).

As a technology specialist I worked closely with Student Media such as The Waterfront newspaper and Xtreme Radio. At the start of the year the student radio station had many hardware issues and could not stream or record shows. I have worked closely with the radios executive committee to redesign a more efficient and reliable system.

Whilst in the society and working on the executive committee I have learnt a great deal about computer science and the management of projects. Having the opportunity to work with a computer society that is 25 years old has been a great experience and has taught me a lot about how well managed communications and utilising individuals strengths is key to success.
