I graduated Swansea University with a Physics degree and moved to the USA. I am looking for a full time position and willing to consider any project that could further my skills.

    2017-Present

    Audio/Visual and computer maintenance for the School of Medicine as part of the classroom and videoconferencing support team. Assist faculty and distinguished speakers with classroom technologies, such as TurningPoint, Office 365, and Sakai. Report on Audio/Visual and computer issues using JIRA and escalation of complex support issues to the correct group. Sort, distribute, and dispose of surplus hardware from storage and system upgrades. Completed training courses AV Essentials (InfoComm/AVIXA) and AV Associate (Extron).

    Make and serve espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food-service operations. Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

    Maintaining a wide range of hardware and systems for Swansea University Students' Union. Working with Windows, Linux, Google Apps for Business, NuTickets, and MSL based digital systems we provided a wide range of services to students' at Swansea University.

    Representing the Students' Union at University events such as employability events and forums, and promoting these events through social media and traditional marketing techniques. As a technology specialist I worked closely with Student Media such as The Waterfront newspaper and Xtreme Radio. At the start of the year the student radio station had many hardware issues and could not stream or record shows. I have worked closely with the radios executive committee to redesign a more efficient and reliable system.

    2008-Present

  • Student Ambassador
    2013-2015

    Showing prospective students and their families around the University and Physics department. Advising them on what course best suits them and what is involved with studying physics. I also represent the university at outreach events with local schools.

  • Publicity Officer
    2013-2014

    Promoting the Swansea University Computer Societies services and events to increase membership and student involvement. Whilst in the society and working on the executive committee I have learnt a great deal about computer science and the management of projects. Having the opportunity to work with a computer society that is 25 years old has been a great experience and has taught me a lot about how well managed communications and utilising individuals strengths is key to success.

    I studied Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Photography A-levels. Whilst at this college I also took part in the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award and First Aid classes.
