Thanks for joining SUCS :) If you haven't already been down to the room then pop down at any time. If you're having trouble finding us then check out https://sucs.org/About/Room and if you haven't completed your sign up yet, like getting door access, then members should be around this week to help you with that.
Next week begins our new session of events:
On Monday the 5th we have an informal meet and greet at 7pm in JC's (The student bar). This is a chance for new and old members to meet and socialise.
We restart our weekly lunch social on Wednesday, beginning at 1pm in JC's. In the evening we'll be having a film night in Fulton house Seminar Room 4 (Film to be decided).
Friday will be our first drinks meet, in JC's from around 7pm. Even if you're not a drinker, come along! It's a great opportunity to get more involved with us and just relax at the end of the week.
On Tuesday the 13th we'll be running an open admin meeting. If you have any interest in how the societies' systems "work" then come along. Don't worry we won't be quizzing you, it's just another opportunity to get involved.
Friday the 16th will be a continuation of our regular lightning talks. You can either just turn up to listen, or if you want to give your own talk then email exec@sucs.org with a rough description of your talk.
From the 19th onwards we'll be running our week of gaming. This is a chance to chill out in our room and just play some games. The format of the week is a game each day:
- Minecraft Monday
- TTD Tuesday (OpenTTD)
- Warcraft Wednesday
- Table-top Thursday
- FPS Friday
All of these games will be held in the SUCS room and can all be run on the SUCS machines. If you do plan on attending remotely though you can check out games.sucs.org for details on how to do this.
