International master William Watson's
name has been cropping up a lot in
London Quick play matches of late.
In the Chequers All-night Tournament
Jan 24 he won the £100 first prize by
winnng 66 out of a total of 69 games!
The three grading prizes went to Simon
LeBlanq under 190; Michael Tasker under
170; PC Maybury under 135;each received
£25. Thirty people entered.
Two days later in the City Chess Quick
Play, William Watson reappeared to win
equal first with IM John Levitt 5½/6-
