P506ORACLE 506 Mon17 Feb C4 1714:06  WORLD  2/2   Monday   SYDNEY The market marked time ahead of news of a revision of Mr Robert Holmes a' Court's bid for BHP, but the changed terms still left the stock lower. The Bell companies both improved though and other industrials also turned better so that by the close the All- Ordinaries index was up 1.4 at 1048.5. SINGAPORE The market closed lower after a session which saw small-time traders taking profits from the recent string of rises. Falls well outnumbered gains and the All-Share fell 1.46 to 225.70.
