Lanarkshire History Federation
During 1985, plans for a federation of
historical and kindred societies,
museums, libraries and individuals were
formulated in the East Kilbride and
Motherwell area.
In March, a meeting will be held to
discuss the constitution, being drawn

Holy Land Flower Festival
On Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2,
there will be a flower festival at
Little Easton Church, near Great Dunmow
in Essex.
Some 10,000 blooms are being flown in
from Israel to transform the C12th
church into a 'Garden of Eden'.
It is open from 11am to 6pm both days.
Refreshments available, plus a sale of
flowers from Israel. All proceeds go
to charity. Brighten up your winter and
