Exercise for ankles, thighs and lower back. Stand with your feet together and hands lightly on hips. Rise on your toes and do a deep knee bend, VERY slowly. Hips and thighs. Do twice. Using a stable, high back chair for support, stand sideways, resting your hand on the back of the chair. Your arm should be a little forward. Lift this unsupported arm out, stand with legs together, heels together, toes pointing outwards, in ballet position. Extend the leg not near the support, pointing your toe. Body facing front, lift free leg, bending the knee, pointing, toes towards the chair. Swing outside arm in as you do this. Extend leg with knee bent sideways, as high as you can, with arm outstretched.

To trim waist. For a trim waist, stand with your feet together, arms loosely by your sides or on hips. Keeping your knees togther, bend them slightly. Swing them to the left, then to the right, keeping to a firm brisk beat. Keeping the top half of your body facing the front so that you twist at the waist.
