KNOTS LANDING BLUES
Every Thursday night the good people of
Hill Street do battle. Not just against
the criminal fraternity; their biggest
enemy is an imaginary cul-de-sac.
Even last week, with the long-awaited
shooting of Captain Furillo, more
people watched KNOTS LANDING than HILL
STREET BLUES.
The petty goings on of this "ordinary
life" soap, have earned it one of the
most faithful audiences in the US.

KNOTS LANDING BLUES
The makers of KNOTS LANDING believe it
is popular because people can identify
with the characters. Unlike DALLAS and
DYNASTY the people are almost all nice.
They're allowed to "scratch on camera
and go to the bathroom".
Producer LARRY KASHA says: "Whatever
happens in KNOTS LANDING can happen in
real life. We don't do things that are
fantasy, unlike certain other shows
that shall remain nameless. We make our
stories emotional stories, instead of
power stories, fighting over land, oil
